Composers statement:

Sound surrounds all of us everyday, birds singing, the radio at a local cafe, the sound of planes overhead, joining all of us in a shared experience of aural textures. More often than not people are away with their thoughts and daily activities to actively participate in this shared experience thus the music of life becomes a subliminal experience and may influence us without our knowing. However if we take the time to listen we begin to see the world in myriad or more new and interesting ways.

The soundscapes (read: sonic landscapes) are dreamy environments that have been composed with regard given to the artists individual concepts acting like air or water (depending on volume) bringing together each artists work and concepts within the multi-sensory environment of the gallery expanse

These compositions give audience members the choice to actively engage in the listening experience acting as a lens to reframe the ceramic work through; or to allow the them to float through their subconscious perhaps reshaping their views on the Ceramic works before them without their knowing.

Thank you for listening.

In Harmony,
Joshua
